You are chosen

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last -- and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you"

The beauty of my walk journey with God was that it never began with me. It is all about Him and began with God. I was 18 yrs old when I first received Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I had all the intentions to always try to be good and to be kind but still always comes short and disappointed with myself but God found me.

Who would be willing to die for someone that is bad? Even for someone who is righteous and good, still not many would be willing to die. Jesus died for our sins so that whoever believes in Him can have life eternally.

The branches will enjoy growth and also enjoy fruit bearing but the root that actually give life won't ever be seen or admired by anyone. He chose you and me rather than sitting pretty and ruling from Heaven. He chose the nails so we may bear fruits and more lasting fruits. He chose you and me and willing to suffer rather than eternity without us.

There is no way to pay back what God had done for us and He required none. He only wants genuine relationship just like father and son, friends, not slaves to master.

"Whatever you ask in Jesus name, the Father will give to you."

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! - Matthew 7:11
